Harold Berard is a graduate of the CAMONDO School in Paris. He began his career collaborating with photographers in the decorative environment and creative direction. He caught the attention of fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Jean-Paul Gaultier Parfums, and Issey Miyake Parfums, who entrusted him with the design of their merchandising and retail environments. These creative projects led him to think more broadly about the « product, » integrating its image with visual and spatial communication. His training as an interior architect and his sensitivity to the decorative arts also allow him to plan the scenography for cultural and event-driven performances.
To this day, Harold Berard continues his work in the fields of design, art direction, and photography. For Cartier, he is developing the merchandising identity of their « Haute Horlogerie » as well as the decorative world for the launch of the « Santos de Cartier » collection in their retail outlets. For Hermès, he is creating the aesthetic vocabulary for a line of perfumes and the conceptual realization of events using podiums. He is also designing several advertising campaigns for Hennessy and G.H. Mumm Champagnes.
