Harold Berard is a graduate of the Camondo School in Paris. He began his career collaborating with photographers in the decorative arts and creative direction. His talent soon attracted the attention of fashion houses such as Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, Jean Paul Gaultier Parfums, and Issey Miyake Parfums, who entrusted him with the design of their merchandising concepts and retail environments.
These creative projects led him to explore the idea of the « product » more broadly — integrating its identity with visual and spatial communication. Trained as an interior architect and deeply attuned to the decorative arts, he also conceives scenography for cultural and event-based performances.
Today, Harold Berard continues to work across design, art direction, and photography. For Cartier, he is developing the merchandising identity of their Haute Horlogerie division and the decorative universe for the launch of the Santos de Cartier collection in retail spaces. For Hermès, he is shaping the aesthetic vocabulary of a perfume line and the conceptual realization of event podiums. He also designs several advertising campaigns for Hennessy and G.H. Mumm Champagnes.
